Hello!

My name is Erin Jones and I am the proud owner of Cactus Rose Design & Events providing event and wedding planning services in Tyler, Longview, and the rest of East Texas!

After countless years of working in retail and office positions, I decided to combine my creativity and organizational skills with my love for special events. So I started my own wedding business and haven't looked back since!

I love that I get to develop a personal relationship with each client. I feel that it is truly the key to making each event a unique and special affair to remember. With an impeccable attention to detail, I focus on even the smallest aspects (that sometimes turn out to be the most important) when I'm helping you create the day of your dreams.

I have 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer and along the way I've already gained countless connections, relationships and friends in this industry, and in moving onto planning, those relationships will only continue to grow. 

I am currently a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and The Bridal Society, a graduate from Penn Foster, and have my full certification in wedding and event planning.

Audrey Phillips
Assistant Wedding Coordinator 

Audrey comes to Cactus Rose with a background in business office management.  While she is a quiet person on the outside, her mind is constantly moving. She loves a challenge and will always dive in headfirst.  Working under pressure is her specialty.

She loves the challenges of weddings. Each wedding has its own personality and bringing that vision to life and making sure all the moving parts are flowing is her specialty.

Before joining the team, Amy was the Director of Global Sales and Exhibitions at South By Southwest, where she led a team of 30 domestic and international sales executives, account managers and fulfillment experts who help organizations successfully leverage the SXSW platform.

Based on her personal passions, she helped to create some of the most successful platforms of the event in the past few years including the SXSW Podcast Stage, the Wellness Expo, and the official SXSW International Women’s Day Celebration.

Amy joined SXSW in 2003, starting in the Registration Department and then working her way through the ranks of the Sales Department. Through that process she turned a three-member sales team into a dynamic and robust staff guiding organizations to successfully engage the international audience at SXSW.
